From the moment the One Wheel team announced they were releasing the new GT, our team have been waiting with baited breath to get our hands on the new board to ride it.  Global shipment delays have meant that the GT took a little longer to arrive and the anticipation grew more and more each day. 

On the day the shipment arrived the energy in the room was palpable.  To describe Jake, Tom and Kevin as little kids waiting to open their presents at Christmas was an understatement. The vibes emulating from the team as they admired the packaging and then giddily opened the box to reveal what is clearly the best gift of the year, was fully charged.

Needless to say, the GT did not disappoint, the One Wheel rides like the unit it is designed to be. 

We asked Tom if he could put into words his first thoughts after he rode it and his response was “It was a hard one to put into words, it was so much more responsible than the XR”.    One word to describe the experience was ‘immense’”.
