SUP Performance Paddling Evenings Scotland

With paddleboarding gaining a massive following in the post lockdown UK we've noticed that more and more SUP'ers wanting more from their time on the water than just bobbling around. With extensive experience across all watersports, we're stoked to invite everyone to our performance SUP sessions in Scotland. These will mainly take place on Gladhouse Reservoir which is located about 15 minutes from Edinburgh bypass and on the open water at Portobello - depending on the weather conditions.

Sessions are designed not only for those who want to race, but also for general paddleboarders who want to improve on their paddling technique or simply wanting to increase their fitness levels.

If you're thinking of SUP racing, this is a great first step! SUP racing can be a fun and exciting way to challenge yourself physically and mentally. Races can vary in length and difficulty, from short sprints to long-distance endurance events. The competitive nature of racing can be motivating for some individuals and can help them push themselves harder than they might in a solo paddle session.

Beyond the physical and mental benefits, SUP racing can also be a social activity. Races often attract a community of paddlers who enjoy spending time together and sharing their passion for the sport. Participating in races can be a great way to meet new people and make connections with like-minded individuals.

What are the pre-requisites?

  • Need to be able to paddle more than 2km
  • Need to be able to comfortably stand on your board


Where and When?
Gladhouse Reservoir, every Tuesday (weather permitting) meeting at 6pm starting at 6:30pm to allow everyone working 9-5 to make it.
